Samuel's Trigger Thumb

Hadios.. It's been a while eversince i stepped foot in here. Not that i have nothing to share but my beloved honey bunny son, Samuel Marthin had to undergo an operation on his trigger thumbs. The operation was on 26th January 2005 at Raffles Hospital. It was only a day surgery but i requested for him to stay in the hospital. Why? Well, cause the nurses and the surgeon will be there to assist, shall something might strike. Alhamdullillah, nothing did. We stayed in the hospital for two days. The whole family of mine. My parents whom is a devoted grandparents, hubby and myself. We camped in the room. I opted for a A1 class that's mainly why we were permitted to stay there so don't get me wrong if you think private hospital allows camping activities. Back to the operation, He was being operated at 8am and the surgery only lasted for 40 minutes. Before going into the operation theatre, he was such a jovial boy. Laughing and smiling. My heart just breaks when i had to let the nurses wheeled him into the operating theatre. Yet, I'm doing this for his very own benefits. No regrets, but i had to admit, i was at the stage of reluctant and cancelling it. My cheeks was wet by my tears when he left us for the operating theatre. My mind starts running BERSERK...Every mothers would feel identically to what i was feeling then. 40 mins later after the surgery was done, the nurse sent him up to his ward. Ward 848. He was wailing and i followed suit. Not that i was wailing like one cina lok tang, just crying. Don't get me wrong okies??? Just Feeling his pain. He was now in the state of delirium. By all those anesthetics that was needled into him. Hubby had to carry him till he falls asleep. But his sleep was restless..He kepts waking up and forcing himself to open his eyes which was pulled in by the force of the anesthetics. I guess he was fighting back the feeling of not abling to control himself. That angers him. And With the Power of GOD, 2 hours later when his anesthetics have finally flushed out from the system, he was back to the road of jovial and activeness. He was too active that i was going ARggggghhhh.... He was using his hands to grab things, hit toys or banging them...I wonder if he did feel the pain..Godd..my baby boy was strong..he no longer cry..playing, laughing and having a hell of a baby time. And definitely, instead of complaining, i was truly Delighted. He was ok. And soon he could move both his thumbs. It has been six months, having two bended thumbs in his finger collections. And on the next appointment, 5th February, the stitch will be removed and he will be having normal thumbs like any other babies. Yeahooooo!!!!! For this, Syukur Alhamdullillah Ya ALLAH. P.S: I shall post some of the pics of him later.. cause now me lazy ah..ehehe..sorry..
