Slumped!!!!

I am extremely busy. Busy with work. MATERNITY LEAVE IS OVER. Been going back to the office and having loads of meetings to attend. I have finally gathered enough courage and tendered in my resignation letter to only have it stripped by my dearest boss. His reply to me was very generous which made me played rock music in my mind. Blasting drums and striking chords of the guitars which made a loud screeching sound. When i gave him my resignation letter, he looked at me, opened the letter and then he said, what resignation letter? and at that instant, he tore the letter slowly and gently. At each motion of him doing so, i was all ready to pounce at him and shout NO..but all i can afford to do was just stood there motionless, with my mouth & eyes wide opened, as though i have just seen a ghost. When he's done tearing my letter, he just went on saying about the meeting with the customer that i had earlier. All i could do was nod and replied, it was ok. He laughed at my actions and said, I can't let go of you. I need you. I just smiled back and replied thank you. THANK YOU??? OH god! that was not the thing i had in mind. I just got up and left the room after a short discussion without even trying to tell him why i need to resign.*shucks* Damn! I am already almost drowning with my own small scale business with looking for a shop, getting more supplier and things to do coupled with being a mother of two sons. What am i supposed to do now? Well, hubby suggested that i should try talking to my boss again and telling him the reasons for me deciding to quit my job. I will but maybe hmm..in a month's time?? Well,..i guess now, i just have to organise, prioritise and manage things to my best ability. Done with my nightmare of unsuccessful resignation, I am here to invite dearest readers whom are interested to join in for my tea party this Saturday.
