Reasons for the Colours of my Rainbows

It started off with just two wonderful guests to come over to my place. In the end, I decided to have more invitations. And so a mass sms under the profiles of bloggers and friends was sent. Inviting them over to my humble HDB abode. And I thought, lets just do it on a Friday. In the end, My house was swarmed by lovely wonderful people on both Friday and Saturday. I served them the so hot & spicy Tom Yum Noodle soup and BBQ ala Seoul Garden. Nothing Fancy. A simple dish with the need of each person cooking their own raw prawns and meat.hehe.. Friday came, It all started at 6.45pm. Que and her darling boyfriend was among the first to arrive. Then, came Elmo, followed by Yati & Haneyy..Soon my house was packed with guests. At the sight of the guests, I did run panic but maintained my cool. hehe..I was afraid that I was a bad host, ever to come across. Luckily there was a BBQ session, so everyone was just busy helping themselves BBQ-ing the food. I was SAVED by my"MR HOT PLATE"..hehe.. It was nice seeing everyone of them. I felt truly touched by their attendance. Indeed very, very greatful. The BBQ-ing continued to almost 3am in the morning. My last guest departs at almost 4am. *Click on the Picture* Thank you all for coming, even after the long day at work. Thank you so much for making it my day. Saturday... It was for Hubby's relatives and friends.. My parent-in-laws came early. Mom-in-law, helped us(me mom & me) in the kitchen while dad-in-law looked after my two boys. It was great. Help was really a thing that I needed. I was running a bit too late, in getting the food ready, as my dearest dad was held in a meeting. Well, why it points to me dad???, as he is the man who is in charge of going to the market and getting all the needed ingredients..hehe.. Nisrina & her dearest hubby, Rahman came. I am so sorry that you guys had to wait for the food to be ready. But, truly am glad that you guys did stay for awhile to catch up with me. Thank you both for listening to my endless ramblings.. Slowly, guests start pouring in. Hub got his PS2 ready. He entertained his guest by playing a match of PS2 with them. I then, excused myself with the company of my Sis-in-law to head out to Compass Point to get more raw food and buy my 3 wonderful men a cake. To celebrate their birthday. Hub's birthday falls on the 28th November, while Dad-in-law on the 29th & my dad is on the 30th November. Coincidence rarely speaks and when they did..it has to be Three in One..hehe.. Later in the evening, Mamafai greeted me with her so yummy and beautiful cupcakes, which made me turned to say NO, to eating them. They were just too beautiful and it is such a waste to end up being in my big fat tummy...hehe..how I wish I could just keep them for souveniors.. Trina, came later with me choco-dates and gave mom kuih lapis. *Click on the Picture* My in-laws only left at the stroke of 11pm.. My other guests, left only at 1am.. I had a wonderful time catching up with everyone. It was a great two days of my humble Hari Raya Open House. My weekend was filled with great companies that contributes to the colours of my rainbows. Thank you everyone for making it my day. Sunday, Hub, me & the kids went out for dinner at Orchard. Mom & dad joined us later. We celebrated Hub's birthday at East Coast. Sunday, I brought Hubby & the kids to Ritz Carlton Millenia. To celebrate hubby's birthday over at the Executive Club Suite. I ordered a rich chocolate cake from The Courtyard of Fullerton Hotel. *Click on the Picture* Trina & her hub came along with us to join in the fun. We did have fun and even made plans on something wonderful for the coming year. To end my long entry short, and not make my readers fall asleep over an event, let's just say, I had a fantabulous time..Period..
