The Movie Marathon Turned Madness
Yesterday was Christmas eve, I went out with my hubby to join in the fun and craziness of Orchard Road. Not that we're celebrating Christmas and turning ourselves away from being rooted borned muslims. Just an outing and feeling the joy. Joining us was Fendi, my hubby's bestfriend.
Orchard was bursting with people of all walks of life. While walking down the street, you'll be inundated by unknown human beings spraying bubbles, foam, etc. Everyone laughing away heartily and having a great time. We had dinner at Pasta Mania then, coffee at Cafe Cartel while waiting to watch the 1.30am show. We watched the Fockers followed by Kung fu hustle at 4am. Meet the Fockers was truly a great show. I laughed my hearts out at this comedy. And when the show came to an end, i finally felt the pinch in my eyes. They're holling out to me and pleading me to stop them from the agony of fighting back the sleepy eyes. With great apology, i had to fight back those sleepy eyes, as there is another movie waiting to be watched. In the midst of watching the movie, i finally raised the white flag and admitted defeat to my sleepy eyes. I could no longer control my eyes to be opened wide and continue watching the movie. I finally fell asleep. I still did not give all out to the sleepy me and not wanting to put the penny to waste, i will keep opening my eyes every now and then to watch the movie and fell back to sleep again. This goes on throughout the movie. Due to this, i have no heads or tails on the storyline or wat was the whole movie about. I was totally clueless. SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME, WHAT WAS KUNG FU HUSTLE ALL ABOUT! My answer will be NO IDEA..Pronto...
The movie lasted at 6 am. By that time, i was begging for a bed to appear before me or be casted with magic so that i could just popped back home and go straight to bed. I was at my own mercy. My hubby was so sweet as to hug me along the way down to the taxi stand. I was having no more strength not only opening my eyes wide but to even walk or whisper a word. He wanted to carry me but please....no no no...as i was all dressed to the nines. It'll be embarrasing, not that i care but just doesn't fit the attire.
6.30am, we're finally home. Ahhhh...nice...i took a quick shower and headed on to bed. Thank gooodness my mom will be at home that day. She can then take my place of looking after my baby boy, Samuel Marthin while i'll be deep in my sleep snuggling under the cover with my Hubby by my side.
The movie marathon turned 'madness'.
